terms of service

These terms govern the Soundtrack.Today website, purchases, downloads and licenses. By using the site or buying a license, you agree to them.

Effective August 6, 2026

01

Who we are

Soundtrack.Today is operated by Artsiom Matsveyeu in California, United States. Questions about these terms or a purchase can be sent to support@soundtrack.today.

02

The $20 license

A completed purchase grants you a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual license to use the selected track in an unlimited number of your own creative and commercial projects. The license begins only after Stripe confirms full payment.

You may use the track repeatedly in films, videos, games, apps, podcasts, advertising, livestreams, social media, events and client productions. There is no subscription, project limit, platform limit or recurring royalty. The license is personal to the purchaser and may not be resold or transferred as a standalone music license.

03

What you may do

  • Synchronize the track with an unlimited number of films, videos, games, apps, podcasts, advertisements, livestreams, social posts and live events.
  • Trim, loop, fade, time, mix and otherwise adapt the track as part of the licensed project.
  • Monetize and distribute the completed project worldwide on any platform.
  • Deliver completed projects to clients, distributors and platforms while the track remains incorporated in those projects.

Credit is appreciated but not required. Suggested credit: “Music: [track] by [artist], licensed via Soundtrack.Today.”

04

What you may not do

  • Sell, share, sublicense or redistribute the track as a standalone audio file, stem, sample, template or music-library item.
  • Register the track or any modified version with YouTube Content ID or another rights-management system.
  • Claim authorship or ownership of the recording or composition.
  • Use the track to train, evaluate or supply a generative AI or machine-learning dataset.
  • Use the track unlawfully, deceptively or in content that infringes another person’s rights.
05

Files and delivery

The purchase includes the original lossless master in WAV and FLAC. If you changed the room controls before checkout, it also includes one rendered current mix using the saved speed, tone, space and tape or stretch settings. All delivered versions are covered by the same unlimited-project license.

You are responsible for saving your delivered files. If delivery fails, contact support with the checkout email and Stripe receipt.

Preview streams and room effects are for evaluation. They do not grant a license.

06

Payments, taxes and refunds

Stripe processes payments and may display a localized currency. Applicable taxes are calculated at checkout. Prices and available payment methods may change before purchase.

Because the product is a digital file and an immediately granted license, completed purchases are final once delivery or access begins, except where law requires otherwise. For duplicate charges, an incorrect file or a technical delivery failure, contact us within 14 days. This policy does not limit mandatory consumer rights.

07

Rights and enforcement

Soundtrack.Today grants only the rights it is authorized to license in the selected track. Artists retain all ownership not expressly licensed to you. Material breach, chargeback fraud or prohibited redistribution may terminate the license after notice where legally required.

08

Site availability

We may change, suspend or remove site features and catalog entries. A later catalog change does not cancel a valid license already purchased. The site is provided on an “as available” basis, subject to rights that cannot legally be excluded.

09

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Soundtrack.Today is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses arising from the site or a track license. Our aggregate liability for a claim related to a purchase will not exceed the amount paid for that purchase. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot legally be limited.

10

Law and changes

These terms are governed by California law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts with jurisdiction in Los Angeles County, California will hear disputes unless consumer law requires another venue. Material changes apply prospectively and will be shown by an updated effective date.
